Home Decor

Monday, 16 February 2015
So I've never really done a home post before, but as everyone's into home hauls over on YouTube and I do really love buying new bits for my room I thought it's a great time to do this post. I'm still living at home just so you all know.

On my bed side table a like to keep a few bits, this lamp I loved because it was simple but the stand wasn't just basic. My little clock I picked up ages ago but I thought it was really chic and everyone loves some embellishment. Then this frame I purchased from Ikea super cheap only £6, and then this print, the famous "more issues than vogue" quote which I printed offline and thought it looked really cool, however it is going to be on the wall just haven't got round to it yet.

I purchased this cute little silver, star pot from H&M today in oxford street, which by the way have the nicest home stuff and I wanted it all, but I thought this would look really nice on the side with some rings in it. Only £2.50!

Everyone loves a good candle, as well as myself and again these are bother from H&M, the front one I purchased a while ago, it's unscented but I loved the pot/packaging, the back one I purchased today and it's Jasmine scented, smells amazing, and I have them on these really cool little mirrored coasters, also from H&M.

This is my favourite pillow ever! and it's from Zara, I brought it while in Paris last year and have loved it ever since, I think it's something with skulls, they stand out for me.

As you can see I love framing prints and this frame is also from Ikea but in grey and I popped this Dazed front cover of Kendall Jenner in it, because I loved it, and as you can see more candles!

& obviously the makeup table. I love this section because it's all neatly spaced good. This storage is from Muji, except the palette holder, it's actually for envelopes and it's from Amazon. If you want to see a more detailed organisation on my makeup, then I may do a video.

Hope you enjoyed this post!

Beauty | Hair Trends 2015

Thursday, 12 February 2015
As I work in a hair salon I thought it would be great to post about the latest hair trends this season in 2015. With my hair I've had it several different ways, first it was long and natural coloured, then really short with bleach blonde high lights and now long and brunette. I get a little bored you could say. But this season if you have not yet noticed there's so many amazing trends from waves to sleek pony tails and also the messy bob, if that the correct way to say it. Therefore I thought I'd pick my favourite styles and pop them below. Enjoy!

Boho Waves

I love this trend because my hair naturally is a lot like this, very wavy, beachy hair and I love it. Designers such as Chanel, Chloe and Emilio Pucci have tried this look on the catwalk.

Long Pony-tails

Again, my hairs very long and would be very similar to this but I never really rock a pony tail, only when I'm on my own in my pj's without makeup, so maybe ill try this out someday. Giles, Gucci and Stella McCartney are all designers to use this trend on the catwalk.

Braids

I love this look! I'm not really for a sleek plait but a messy one I do love and having it to the side gives it a laid back look with minimal makeup. I also really like this one to the right it's bringing in the boho waves but with small braids on the sides. Designers to follow this are Peter Som, Michael Kors and Vera Wang.

Sleek

So I'm planning a future photo-shoot to add to my portfolio and I've always had this sleek, wet look hair on my mood board I love it and a-listers such a Kendall Jenner is a regular of rocking this look. Also designers Marni, Alexander Wang and Balmain used this trend on the catwalk.

Blowouts

I love getting my hair done because I love the end result of a big, bouncy blowdry, it just makes me feel fabulous, there's nothing like it. Matthew Williamson, Jenny Packman, and Naeem Khan are a few of the designers a fan of the big blowouts on the catwalk.

Messy Bob

When I had my short bob I hated it! because as I said previously I have really wavy and sometimes out of control hair and back when I had that it was all about straight, sleek hair so I felt conscious about it and constantly straightened it which fried it especially because it was bleached with highlights and then grew it out and now it's about a messy bob so I'm kind of jealous now and want it back.

Events | Valentine's In London

Monday, 9 February 2015

Hello my lovelies, now Valentines Day is fast approaching, it's on Saturday! Now you've probably all got your plans, but if your not as organised, taking it day by day, or how have no idea what you can do then hopefully this post can help you. As I live in London the post will be based around things to do in London, however I'm sure you can find similar things in the places you live. Some ideas will be for relationships or just going it single with a group of pals, so I hope you enjoy and this post is useful.

Fifty Shades Of Grey

If you didn't know, Fifty Shades Of Grey, you know that really kinky, whip using movie is released in London on Valentines Day, so if your like me, a singleton who can't wait to watch this, this is what I will be doing, maybe in a fancy Leicester Square cinema. But this would be a great option if it's a group of you gorgeous ladies (or guys, if you want some tips) to do, and maybe some fancy cocktails after.

The View from The Shard

Want something really romantic, with a good view? Then the shard is the best place for you to go, you can stare at all the pretty lights of London and sip champagne, while spending some quality, loving time with your partner.

Speed Dating

Fancy falling in love on Valentines day, finding the man of your dreams, then why not speed date, you can go with a group of pals and hope you all find someone very special, maybe they'll even take you for a drink afterwards, there's really nothing to lose. I've linked the best speed dating events above, check them out!

Romantic Dinner Cruise

Now this sounds like a brilliant plan, how about all you loved up couples dine out on a boat on the Thames, it's not the cheapest option but if you want to go all out then this sounds amazing, champagne and dinner on water.

Strictly Salsa
Strictly Salsa Valentine's Dance | Cre8 Life Style Centre London | Sat 14th February 2015 Lineup

Bring out your inner dance moves, because it's time to salsa it up. How cool does this sound, with your partner, having a few drinks, dancing and having a good old laugh. Sounds like a fun time to me, might turn into dirty dancing.

I'd really appreciate if you could head over to YouTube and subscribe it would mean a lot to me and maybe tell me what you think.

Beauty | Sephora Haul (Paris)

Wednesday, 4 February 2015
So today is just a short post but I thought I would just share with you the couple of beauty products I picked up from Sephora while in Paris, hope you enjoy!

1. Sephora Nail file - I was ordered by my mother to purchase some nail files because for some reason we find it hard in London looking for a good one and since last January when buying the Sephora ones its all we've used so I got a bunch more to last.

2. Sephora 10hr fix and correct concealer - I've been without a proper concealer for a while and trying to look for a good one, and so I thought id try this because it looked rather interesting as it has two sides. One side for correcting and diminishing imperfections and the other for fading dark circles and brightening. I'm still trying it out but once it's more used I may write a review.

3. Sephora Mineral Foundation Compact - I brought most of these products while in a rush so I picked this up in a hurry and didn't actually think much about the colour because it's a lot darker than my actual skin tone and turns out looking like I've slapped mud on my face but no worries I'll use it in the summer when I'm tanned.

4. Sephora Bubble Mask detoxifying & oxygenating - this was another product picked up in a hurry but again it seemed like an interestingly described product so I thought why not. I've used this once already and it seems quite nice and hydrating, and again will be another product to review.

5. MAC sheer tone blush *pinch me* - As I was in Paris in Sephora I wanted to buy products that I couldn't buy at home, however I was in need of a new blush and MAC is my favourite for blushes and I found this one which for some reason now looks a lot darker than what I thought in the shop but still nice as coral/peachy based.

Fashion | the flares are back

Monday, 2 February 2015
Fashion is always repeated and this season were heading back to the 1970s where flares were the biggest fashion trend around, and guess what? they're here again! Now being into fashion I wasn't actually sure which era the flares graced us, and so I did a little research and of course the 70s came up but also the 90s and the more I read a few people seemed to think flares were a trend in the 1990s which they wasn't, they may still have been around but then it was all about the MOM jeans, you know, the ones that are also back with us.

Anyway onto the flares, if you were a 90s child just like myself you were most probably dressed in some flare, horrid jeans, well they were most probably boyfriend jeans. See I've always had flared and boyfriend mixed up, as I associated flares as a pair of boyfriends jeans. Looking at flares now however, I'm in love! There tight on the thighs but flared on the bottoms and can be styled incredibly chic and hippy. While researching I found some nice outfits including a pair of flares and included them in this post.
