OTRA One Direction Concert Outfit | Street Or Chic

Friday 25 September 2015

What Am I Wearing: Jeans Zara . Top Zara . Shoes Primark . Necklace H&M .

Hello everyone! Another outfit post for you today, sorry they haven't been more regular but I've been quite busy with work and stuff that I haven't had time to take some snaps. But yesterday I went to the One Direction concert at the O2 and it was incredible if i must say. It's my fourth time seeing them and they only get better. If you want a whole post on my On The Road Again Tour Experience then don't hesitate to ask because i'd love to do one. I didn't want to wear anything too dressy to the show because it's all about being comfortable, so I went for some high waisted black skinny jeans, a white tee (kind of Harry's signature look right?) But I still wanted to dress it up a little so I brought this necklace the other day which I thought looked great to spice it up a little, and then teeny heeled shoes from Primark, super comfortable! And then just popped a leather jacket over it.

So London Fashion Week day one is over now and I am so tired from all that walking, standing, walking standing, but right now I'm lying on my sofa watching Eastenders, eating a lemon muffin and writing this post for you all, and it feels great. I had a brilliant day at LFW today saw some amazing designers including J.JS Lee & J.P Braganza including more who all had amazing collections! But I will speak more about that in a later post. Thought i'd let you see my outfit from today, thought I'd start off a little more casual, and debut my new fringe/bangs. Do you like?

#BLFW Event | Street Or Chic

Monday 14 September 2015

Last week I attended a really exciting event called Blogger's London Fashion Week(BLFW), if you are a blogger youself you may have heard of this, or you may have not. It was hosted by an organisation called Bloggers Hangout, who are great when it comes to beginner bloggers. If you want to meet other bloggers, attend events, or get to know brands, and just overall network. Because networking is the most important aspect when it comes to have a business online. A blog may not seem like a business but after a while if you do your best at it, it can become a business, but an incredibly fun job right? There's nothing i'd love more than to be a full time blogger, because I honestly feel pure joy at sitting down and writing for you all to read my stuff, it means a lot. What I've only realised now however is that it is important to make connections and relationships with fellow bloggers and brands, so I try my hardest at social media and events.

Anyway back to the actual event, because I've seemed to ramble off. BFLW was hosted at the OXO Tower on Southbank, such an amazing location, really big space. There were two sessions, session one was at two o'clock until a time i'm forgotten, and then session two was six until nine, so good amount of time to get to know some new people and have a good laugh. Events can be extremely daunting if your attending alone and don't know anyone, because usually you walk in and everyone's got in there little groups, which I'm sure their all lovely but it's easier to be with someone. So I met up with a lovely blogger I had spoken to over twitter and we went together (don't just meet anyone off the internet, make sure they are actually who they say they are!) which made it a lot easier, I don't want to make this sound really scary because it isn't but it's just nice to be with someone else.

Inside theres a Dj, playing some current tunes which really got the party going, and you either spend your time speaking with other bloggers getting to know what they do and how they've got to where they are, which is really interesting and can help you, or spend your time in the gifting lounge which is amazing! Because I'm new to the blogging scene and going to events it's surprising that you can be gifted with some absolutely amazing products and items. My favourite was the Magnitone Face Cleansing brush, I have wanted one for ever! and to be given one is amazing, and the ladies were very lovely as was all the other brand ambassadors, but do look out for a review on the Magnitone because I will definitely be doing one. If you'd like to know anything else about this event then just comment in the down box and ill try get back to you straight away!

Public Desire Wishlist | Street Or Chic

Tuesday 8 September 2015

Hello my lovelies, today you are very lucky because you get two posts. I really wanted to do this one today and just something little, as I was having a little look on Public Desire as you do, because they have amazing shoes! And I came across these four pairs, well actually come across like ten pairs, but I can't be greedy. But instead of keeping them in my head why not share them with you, I suppose I think of this blog as my little mood board or a piece of paper to jot notes down for a later time. For some reason most of the shoes I'd chosen where in the colour Khaki, which is strange because i've never actually owned a Khaki coloured pair of shoes, so I guess it's time to change that. It's fashion week coming in a couple of weeks and I need to start deciding on some outfits and of course I need a pair of heels so I think I better start shopping.

#BLFW Event "all black chic" Outfit | Street Or Chic

Hello everyone! Yesterday I attended the #BLFW (Bloggers London Fashion Week) it was an amazing event put on my Bloggers Hangout, if you are a new blogger i'd definitely check them out because it's a great way to help you out, in terms of going to events and collaborating with really cool brands. I won't speak too much on the actual event now, because there is a post to come where I'll speak you about the over view of the night and also the goodies I picked up from the brands there. But for now, thought i'd just show you my outfit for the evening. I wasn't really sure how to go because there was a dress code for 'black chic' so I guess it gave me an excuse to wear even more black, but as this was my first proper bloggers event experience I didn't know whether to dress up or go casual, so I kind of went in between. Which I'm glad about now because there were a few really dressed up and then a few really casual, so I made a good decision. I hope you like this outfit, and if you want to know more about the event then come back in a day or two for the full post.
